DOG LEADS RESCUERS TO PUPPY TRAPPED IN WELL - “All of a sudden a dog approached them and began to whimper running in circles around them . Dawn and the volunteers followed the dog and it took them directly to the well…”
The Blue Cross of India reports that when volunteers investigated reports of a puppy trapped in a well, they had a hard time locating the site. However, the puppy’s mother showed up and guided them to the location. Here’s more from the Blue Cross of India Facebook page:
After entering the paddy fields that was flooded with water we noticed four wells that were about five hundred meters distance from each other. It was difficult to judge which well the puppy was…Dawn and the volunteers followed the dog and it took them directly to the well and peeped into the well in which the puppy was. This well was about one kilometer away from the road. Mr. Mohit and Mr. Sushant were very useful in holding the ropes while Dawn entered the well and the puppy was finally reunited with its mother.
