He showed back up at his previous owner’s house on Monday the 21st which is about FIVE miles away from the Norman Animal Welfare Center!! That’s right, this dog is so smart that he found his way home after traveling down Hwy 9. Luckily he never got hit in the process as he apparently likes to chase cars.
Now he is back safe and sound at the shelter. Yes, after all of that they still brought him back. He loves his family so much that he traveled 5 miles back to his house to his beloved family, who does not want him. It’s very heartbreaking, he is so sad and he completely doesn’t understand what is going on and why they don’t want him. So, who can offer this loyal boy a forever home??
Dirk wants to go home but he needs to find a new family. Best of luck to him. Click here for the full story and here for more about Norman Animal Welfare. (Photo from the Friends of the Animals of Norman Facebook page)
