TWO-LEGGED PIT BULL INSPIRES CREATION OF FUND TO HELP INJURED DOGS - “He has an incredible puppy spirit & is full of love & life. He plays, he’s happy, he enjoys rolling in the grass just as any abled body canine would on these hot summer days.”
A Pit Bull puppy named London fell to the ground from a building in Northern California and had to have his two front legs amputated. He is recovering well and will soon receive a new wheelchair to get around. Community support for London has been so great that the Team London Scholarship Fund has been set up to help other injured shelter dogs. Here’s more from Panda Paws Rescue, the organization involved in helping London:
The support has been so great that London has decided that he wants to setup a scholarship fun for injured dogs in rescue. His continued donations will go into a special fund to be used to help dogs in rescue around the country with surgery and after care. Many small rescues such as ours cannot afford these projects without the support of the community and other rescues.

London has two severely fractured, shattered front legs. Both compound fractures in the elbows from falling from his previous owners apartment building. From the damage done, it was likely from a 2 or 3 story window. However, it doesn’t stop there. He was left on hot ground, presumably pavement or asphalt, for quite some time. London has burns covering all of his paw pads & his underbelly that have begun to heal… leaving us to believe this injury has gone untreated for, at least, a month if not longer.
London suffered horrible injuries, but he has not let his condition keep him down. Now, many other dogs in need of medical care will benefit from London’s story. Click here to learn more about Panda Paws Rescue, and click here for more about the Team London Scholoarship Fund.
