Pet photographer Paul Walker who is based out of Scotland recently won The Societies’ Pet Portrait Photographer of the Year and Overall Photographer of the Year for 2012. He really is handsome and focused sometimes. I’d like to imagine he’s thinking of how to solve real world problems, but he’s probably just thinking about when I’m going to feed him, what bushes he needs to pee on, and where he’s going to choose to sleep for the next 5 hours. I’ll just pretend he’s trying to think of how to cure cancer. Yeah.

ELLIOTT ERWITT EXHIBITION: DOG PHOTOGRAPHY - An traveling exhibition of photographer Elliott Erwitt’s dog photography will go on display at the Kalamazoo Institute of the Arts in Michigan starting this weekend.  Click here for more information from mlive.com.  I love these.

Here’s a video with a bunch of helpful tips for photographing dogs.  When I take photos of my dog there are a lot of unusable shots for every good shot I happen to catch.  I find that having treats in my pocket helps!
