PHOTOGRAPHER WINS AWARDS FOR PET PHOTOGRAPHY
Pet photographer Paul Walker who is based out of Scotland recently won The Societies’ Pet Portrait Photographer of the Year and Overall Photographer of the Year for 2012. The awards are governed by the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers, which is an association of worldwide professional photographers. Click here to see more of Paul Walker’s work.
He really is handsome and focused sometimes. I’d like to imagine he’s thinking of how to solve real world problems, but he’s probably just thinking about when I’m going to feed him, what bushes he needs to pee on, and where he’s going to choose to sleep for the next 5 hours. I’ll just pretend he’s trying to think of how to cure cancer. Yeah.

Here’s a video with a bunch of helpful tips for photographing dogs. When I take photos of my dog there are a lot of unusable shots for every good shot I happen to catch. I find that having treats in my pocket helps!
